After losing the 1st leg 2-1, Dundee managed to win 4-2 at Dens to go through to the next round. John Duncan hit a hat-trick and Bobby Wilson got the other goal. Dundee were 2-1 down on the night but three goals in the last 19 minutes won the tie. A crowd of 15,500 saw this game.
