In this 1/4 final tie first leg Dundee faced FC Zurich at Dens Park. They won the game 1-0 thanks to a Jim Easton goal in front of a great crowd of 13,500. Dundee would win the second leg 1-0 thanks to a Sammy Wilson. In the Semi-Final they would face Leeds United.
