Dundee and East Fife drew 2-2 in this Scottish Cup tie at Dens Park. Jim Smith and Tommy Coyne scored for the Dee. A crowd of 4,856 saw the action. This was a very good East Fife side and they gave Dundee two tough games in the cup. Dundee reached the Semi-Finals in 1987.
