Dundee v Dundee United, 9th September 1961

 Dundee won this Derby 4-1 goals from Andy Penman, Gordon Smith, a own goal from Briggs and Hugh Robertson made it a wonderful day for Dundee fans. A crowd of 20,000 saw the action at Dens Park.

Dundee v Dumbarton , 28th February 1981

 Dundee won this game 2-1 thanks to goals from Brian Scrimgeour and Eric Sinclair, the game was played on the 11th of March after the game was called off due to bad weather. 2,812 fans saw this game. In the programme news Dundee signed young goal keeper Colin Kelly who later played for the first team. 

Dundee v St Johnstone, 20th August 1966

 Dundee won this League Cup Section game 2-0 thanks to goals from Jim McLean and Kenny Cameron, a decent crowd of 8,000 saw the action at Dens Park. I like the cover and it would have been a one off. As the Tay Bridge was opened just two days before this game. A nice issue to add to my collection of Dundee FC programmes.

Formartine United v Dundee, 9th July 2011

 Dundee beat  Formartine United 5-1 with goals from Savo Milne, Jake Hyde(2), and Ross Chisholm in the first half. Ross Campbell scored for the home side to make the half time score 4-1. Leighton McIntosh scored in the last minute to get the final goal. 

Torquay United v Dundee, 26th July 1980

 Dundee and Torquay United drew 1-1 in this friendly game, l have all four programme's now from this mini tour. Jimmy Murphy scored for the Dark Blues. This issue was a double one with Torquay United also playing Watford. A crowd of 1,454 saw the action at Plainmoor. Also is has a wee mistake with Dundee Und instead of Dundee FC on the front page !

Dundee v Kilmarnock, Dens Park, 8th October 1966

 Dundee and Kilmarnock drew 1-1 at Dens Park, Alex Kinninmonth scored for the dark blues. A decent crowd of 9,000 saw the action. 

Edmonton Brick Men v Dundee, 16th June 1985

Dundee won 5-1 the goals were scored by Jim Smith, George McGeachie, Ray Stephen, Graham Harvey and John McCormack. The action was seen by 2,436 fans. 

 

Bristol Rovers v Dundee, 30th July 1980

 Dundee and Bristol Rovers drew 0-0 in this mini-tour of South west England where the dark blues played four games.

Berwick Rangers v Dundee, 18th March 1989

 Dundee won 2-1 thanks to goals from Graham Harvey and Joe McBride, it was a great day out and plenty of stories.
