Falkirk v Dundee, 25th April 1981

It was a vital game for Dundee's promotion hopes as they beat Falkirk 2-1 the goals were scored by Jimmy Murphy and Ray Stephen. A crowd of 4,500 saw the action at Brockville.

Hibernian v Dundee, 16th April 1958

 

Dundee and Hibernian drew 1-1 in this league game at  Easter Road, Jimmy Bonthrone scored for the dark blues in front of 10,000 fans.

Dundee v Motherwell, 10th January 2015

 

Dundee won this game 4-1, goals from Alex Harris, Greg Stewart, Gary Irvine and a own goal from Mark O'Brien sealed a fine win for the dark blues. A crowd of 5,105 saw the action.

Saltash United v Dundee, 31st July 1980

Dundee won this game 3-1 with thanks to Colin Reid for that information as Colin was at the game. This was part of a four game tour of that area. A couple of schoolboy errors as the club  was welcomed as Dundee United and Tom McKay was our Manager. They get it right later in the programme. A good issue non the less. The goals that night were scored by Smith, Jimmy Murphy, and McGall not sure if this is right but the info was in They wore the dark blue.

Dundee and Kilmarnock drew 0-0 at Dens Park in Round Two, First Leg of the Bells League Cup. A crowd of  4,388 saw the action.

Hearts v Dundee, 22nd August 1962

Dundee lost 3-1 at Tynecastle in this League game, Doug Houston scored in the second half for the dark blues. 18,000 fans watched the game on a Wednesday night!

 

Dundee v Hearts, 23rd September 1961

Dundee won this game 2-0 with a goal in each half from Alan Gilzean, happy to add this programme to my collection as season 1961-62 are quite hard to get for a decent price. A crowd of 10,921 saw the action  at Dens Park.

Leeds United v Dundee, 15th May 1968

I already had this Programme l got it nearly 37 years ago, but it  has some writing on it and when i seen this one I decided to replace my old one. Dundee lost the game 1-0 in front of 23,380 fans inside Elland Road. Leeds won the Fairs Cup that year so Dundee done well to push them all the way in the Semi-Final.
