Dundee v Hibernian, 3rd April 1965

 

Dundee won this league game 2-1 at Dens Park, goals were scored by Jocky Scott in front of 15, 890 fans. Bob Shankly was in charge of Hibernian that day. A good programme and plenty to read about. Number 2,100 in my collection so happy with that number of DFC programmes.

Dundee v Clyde, 24th September 1960

 

Dundee beat Clyde 4-1 at Dens Park, goals from Alan Cousin, Alan Gilzean, Hugh Robertson and Bobby Seith. A good programme normal for the time. A crowd of 13,700 saw the game. 

Hearts v Dundee, 1st September 1962

 

Dundee lost this League Cup tie 2-0 at Tynecastle, a crowd of 15,000 saw the action. A good programme in great condition of being just over 60 years old. 

Arbroath v Dundee, 8th October 2022

 

Dundee drew 1-1 at Gayfield against a decent Arbroath side. Zak Rudden scored for the dark blues. A decent programme for the game which enough about the dark blues. A crowd of 3,372 saw the action on a fine day for the football.

Rangers v Dundee, 4th March 1968

 

A good programme for this Cup replay after the teams drew at Dens 1-1, sadly Dundee lost 4-1 on the night after extra time. Sammy Wilson scored for the Dee. A big crowd of  53, 875 saw the action. 

The New Saints v Dundee, 23rd September 2022

 

Dundee won 3-0 in this cup tie goals from Cillian Sheridan, Lyall Cameron and Max Anderson. A good enough programme and happy that they done one for this game. It was a long way down to see the game but worth while we did it.
