Hearts v Dundee, 14th August 1968







 In this League Cup game at Tynecastle Dundee lost 2-1, Alex Stuart scored for the dee. A crowd of  11,000 saw the game.

Dundee v Dundee United, 14th September 1963






 Dundee drew 1-1 with city rivals Dundee United at Dens Park, Alan Gilzean scored for the dark blues. A crowd of 22,000 saw the action.

Dundee v Queens Park Rangers, 5th August 1989







 Dundee drew with QPR in this friendly, Albert Craig scored both Dundee's goals. a crowd of 2,967 saw the action. This game took place after Dundee had played four games in the north east of England.

Dundee v Aberdeen, Wolves, Bradford City, 15th/20th/23rd July 2008






 In this three game programme when the visitors were Aberdeen, Wolves and Bradford City. Dundee struggled in all three games. They drew 0-0 with The Dons Crowd: 2,442. Lost 1-0 to Wolves  Crowd 2,091, and lost 1-0 to Bradford City Crowd: 1,239. 

Dundee v Dundee United, 11th April 1987








Another Semi Final defeat this time at Tynecastle to our city rivals. Going down 3-2 in the end was hard to take as Dundee fought back from 1-0 down to 2-1 at half time. But sadly Dundee sat back in the second half and paid the penalty. Keith Wright and Tommy Coyne scored for the dark blues and this was another big chance to win The Scottish Cup. A crowd of  13,913 saw the action. At least it was a good night out after the game.


 

Dundee v Livingston, 3rd February 2004










 In this League Cup Semi-Final at Easter Road Dundee lost 1-0 to Livingston. Another Semi defeat was hard to take as Dundee would have had a good chance of winning the League Cup that season.

Celtic v Dundee, 9th October 1993




 Dundee lost 2-1 in this league game at Parkhead. A massive crowd of  15,980 saw the action.

Dundee v Airdrieonians, 25th of October 1995











Dundee won 2-1 to reach The League Cup Final, in a great night Paul Tosh put Dundee ahead. Airdrie levelled the game. But Neil McCann scored a wonderful goal on the night too send the club to Hampden where they would face Aberdeen. A crowd of 8,930 saw the semi final game played at McDiarmid Park.
