St Johnstone v Dundee, 3rd February 1968

 Dundee won this Tayside Derby 2-0 in front of 5,000 fans at Muirton Park. The goals were scored by Billy Campbell and Alex Stuart. Both teams had struggled in the league and this proved a vital win for the Dark Blues. 

Dundee v Morton, 24th October 2020

Dundee won this game thanks to a goal from Jonathan Afolabi after just 4 minutes. A decent programme and plenty to read. Very Happy that Dundee are still doing programmes this season. The front cover design is a copy of the 1981-82 season, and still looks great. Then the programme was 30p now it is £3.00.

Portsmouth v Dundee, 23rd March 1953

 

In this Friendly Match at Fratton Park Dundee and Portsmouth drew 3-3 under the floodlights. The Dark Blues goal scorers were Bobby Waddell, Bert Walker and Ken Ziesing. A very decent crowd of 17,000 saw the action on a Monday night!

Kilmarnock v Dundee, 8th August 1979

 In this Anglo Scottish 2nd Leg after the teams drew 1-1 at Dens Park. In this game it ended 3-3 and Dundee went through on away goals. Eric Sinclair and Ian Redford (2) 1 penalty were the goal scorers on the night. A crowd of 4,000 saw the action at Rugby Park. Dundee would face Sheffield United in the next Round.

Dundee v Hearts, 12th March 1975

 In this 5th Rd Scottish Cup Replay at Dens after the 1-1 draw at Tynecastle. Dundee won 3-2 to reach the Semi Finals. Goals from George Stewart, Bobby Hutchinson and Bobby Robinson. A decent crowd of 22,197 saw this thriller at Dens Park.

Dundee v Hibernian, 6th November 1993

Dundee won this game 3-2, goals from Steve Pittman, Dragutin Ristic and Paul Ritchie. A crowd of 4,682 saw this league game at Dens Park.

 

Dundee v RWD Molenbeek, 2nd October 1974

 Dundee were beaten 4-2 on the night in this UEFA Cup game at Dens Park. The Dark Blues goals were scored by John Duncan and Jocky Scott. A crowd of 12,000 saw this game and Dundee went out 5-2 on aggregate to a very good side.

Hearts v Dundee, 16th October 2020

 

Dundee lost tonight 6-2 at Tynecastle, Charlie Adam and Danny Mullen scored for the Dark Blues. The game was played behind closed doors. Good enough programme but not as lavish as previous issues. Likely with Hearts being in the Championship and as Dundee must keep costs down!

Motherwell v Dundee, 12th May 2002

 Dundee lost 2-1 in the last game of the Season at Fir Park. Fabian Caballero scored from the spot on 66 minutes. The home side were 2-0 up at half-time. A crowd of 6,574 saw the action. 

Dundee v Rangers, 17th February 1968

 Dundee drew 1-1 with Rangers at Dens with Billy Campbell scoring for the Dark Blues, a decent crowd of 33,000 saw the action at Dens Park in this Scottish Cup tie. Dundee lost the replay at Ibrox 4-1.
